Series 2000 Micro Reader
The Micro-reader is an intelligent module which provides the RF and Control functions to communicate with TI-RFID Transponders. It is equipped with a serial communications interface which may be directly connected to commonly used system controllers. The use of low-Q antennas eliminates the need to tune the system to resonance.

Series 2000 Reader S251B
The Series 2000 Reader S251B provides all the RF and control functions to communicate with TI*RFID LF Transponders. It includes a Dynamic Auto Tuning (DAT) function that automatically tunes a standard antenna to resonance and keeps it tuned during operation. The reader performs all the tasks necessary according to the commands from the host to send signals to and receive data from a TI RFID Transponder. It decodes the received RF signals into the transponder? identification number, checks the validity and handles the conversion to a standard serial interface protocol.

Series 2000 Remote Antenna Radio Frequency Module
Higher power output and ambient temperature range. 10 to 24 VDC supply. Capacitive tuning. This RF module contains all of the analogue functions required to communicate with the low frequency transponder. It uses capacitive tuning and is compatible with the S2000 Control Module.


Series 2000 Power Radio Frequency Module
Enables antennas to be located up to 120m from the readers. Needs Remote Tuning Board. This module has the same power output as the Power RF module but with the capability of connecting the antenna up to 120 metres away using a single twin axial cable. Ideal for situations where civil works must be minimised.

Series 2000 Antenna Tuning Module
The Remote Antenna RFM system is the interface between the TI-RFID Transponder and the Data Processing Unit. It sends an energizing signal to the transponder, modulates the RF signal to send data to the transponder, receives the identification signal and processes it for digital decoding.


Series 2000 Control Module
The Series 2000 Control Module (CTL) is the interface between a TI RFID Radio Frequency Module and a controlling host. The CTL controls the transmitting and receiving functions of the RFM according to the commands from the host to send signals to and receive data from a TI-RFid transponder. It decodes the received RF signals into the transponder? identification number, checks the validity and handles the conversion to a standard serial interface protocol.

Series 2000 Mini Radio Frequency Module
Designed for medium range applications where customers require a high level of integration but have a restricted power source. Requires very low operating current.




Series 2000 Gate Antenna Large
The Large Series 2000 Gate Antenna is a fully-packaged antenna for applications like vehicle access to parking lots in an outdoor environment. It can be mounted on a pole or a wall. This antenna is fully packaged for use in vehicle identification systems allowing access to controlled areas. This antenna is manufatured from UV stabilised high impact polystyrol (UVSHIPS) and is sealed to IP44.

Series 2000 Gate Antenna Medium
The gate antenna is designed for use in doorways, entrances and corridors, beside conveyers, or in any location where the reading field coverage needs to be maximized. This antenna is manufactured from UVSHIPS and is sealed to IP65.

Series 2000 Gate Antenna Small
The small gate antenna is designed for use beside conveyers, or in any small defined location. This antenna is manufactured from UVSHIPS and is sealed to IP65.


Series 2000 Stick Antenna
The ferrite rod antenna is a short cylindrical device used in stationary applications where space is limited. An additional benefit of the stick antenna is that it allows a precise discrimination between RFID tags in close proximity to one another through a highly directed field. Sealed to IP66.

Series 2000 Stick Antenna for Series 2000 Mini RFM
This stick antenna is specially designed for use with the Mini-RFM. The ferrite rod antenna is a short cylindrical device used in stationary applications where space is limited. 12mm Wedge Transponder
The wedge transponder is encapsulated within a plastic mould compound. It has a compact and robust construction with a built-in notch for precise fixturing in secondary packages. The wedge shape enables automatic orientation. The Read Only functionality means the transponder cannot be reprogrammed and has a factory programmed unique 64-bit number. Also available in read/write.

12mm Wedge DST
This wdge transponder has all the physical features of the R/O and R/W but with the added benefit of high security encrypted controls.


12mm Wedge DST+
This new generation of secure RFID transponder provides additional levels of security. In addition to the proven TI encryption known from the DST transponder, mutual authentication increases security and sophisticated diagnostic features allow fraud prevention and after-theft diagnosis. It offers 50 bytes of EEPROM memory from which 26 bytes are free for user data. The DST+ can be operated in DST mode in which it is functional compatible to the DST.

Multi Usage Transponder (12mm Plastic Wedge)
This multi usage transponder provides a combination of features that allow it to use as a read-only (R/O), read-write (R/W), and multipage transponder. In addition, it features low Q operation allowing close proximity to metal whilst keeping the well-known TI reading distance performance superior to comparable products.

23mm Disc Transponder Inlay
This inlay has been developed for applications where users require bespoke transponder packaging e.g. a plastic housing filled with encapsulating compound.

TI 13.56Mhz Encapsulated Tag
The Laundry Transponder from RFID Components is housed in a rugged plastic encapsulation designed specifically to withstand the harsh environment of textile or clothing rental and laundry dry cleaning applications. The ultra-thin 22 mm circular transponder can be sewn into or attached to clothes or textile items and enables up to 50 items to be identified simultaneously. Fully compatible with international ISO 15693 standards for contactless RFID, each tag has a unique, 64-bit factory-programmed ID, which cannot be duplicated, ensuring that no items are ever misidentified. The key ring is based on TI's Tag-it Smart Label technology and allows interoperability of products from multiple manufacturers. 13.56 MHz Vicinity Card Transponder
Newly introduced, this card has all of the features of a Tag-it ISO15693 packaged in a convenient ISO 7810 card format. Its unique ID and 2K bits of read/write memory make this product ideal for applications such as access control and electronic ticketing where high performance is a prerequisite.

Tag-it Inlay (HF-I) ISO15693
This HF-I inlay is the latest in 13.56MHz technology from Texas Instruments. Conforming to the requirements of an ISO standard, these inlays now offer true open system capability thus eliminating potential issues of proprietary protocols. Each inlay has 2K bits of read/write memory and a 64 bit "unique" ID. Availabel in miniature, square and rectangular styles in reels of 5K pieces. The full benefits of HF-I are achieved when used with RFID Components HF reader modules.

Tag-it Inlay (HF)
Introduced in 1999, this inlay paved the way in the development of 13.56MHz technology for labelling. Each inlay has 256 bits of read/write memory and a 32 bit "unique" ID. Availabel in miniature, square, strip and rectangular styles in reels of 5K pieces. These inlays are compatible with all RFID Components High Frequency readers.

Tag-it Chipless Inlay

Availabel to label converters and card manufacturers to facilitate production engineering and process development without using valuable inlays. Availabel in all Tag-it sizes and supplied in reels of 5K.


S6700 Transceiver IC
This multi-protocol transceiver IC is suitable for cost sensitive designs where Tag-it HF, Tag-it HF-I, ISO15693-2 and ISO14443-2 (Mode A) functionality is required.
